Sketches and Description of Event
My Experience
A more detailed description of my experiences on the morning of Agust 2nd. A few minor errors are in the report. One being that I was raised and served in the military my first twenty years. Also, the rings burst five hours prior to the sighting. My location during the sighting was on I-69, a half mile north of the Fishcers exit. The UFO and softspot opening was at latitude 39 degrees 57 minutes north and longitude 86 degrees 1 minute west. I was inspired to tell about my encounter, after nine years of silence, when I saw television series about the Bermuda Triangle. A pilot, Bruce Gernon, flew into an opening thirty years ago. He and I believe our events appear directly related. His book, "The Fog", which is co-authored by Rob MacGregor, was released in Agust 2005. The sub-title is "A Never Before Published Theory of the Bermuda Triangle Phenomenon".

August 2nd, 1996 NWS Louisville (Fort Knox), Kentucky Station
5 hours prior to the opening. The differences between the two is because the Indy station was on ten mintue cycle time (air clear mode) and Louisville station was on six minute cycle time (precipitation mode). Note: All doppler radars in the U.S. are on Greenwich Mean Time which is global time. Please note the unexpected sixth ring detected on the Kentuck/Tennesee state line.
